ERS-SHORT LINE enables contractors, vendors, and suppliers to easily comply with the safety and security requirements of the Short Line Railroads who subscribe to this system.
- Check the security status of personnel previously entered into
the e-RAILSAFE database.
- Conduct, grade, and sort required security background screenings
on applicants and employees to determine their eligibility to
access client facilities.
- Administer web-based compliance presentations and tests to your
personnel as required by your Short Line Railroad clients.
- Manage Adverse Action Notifications resulting from
ERS-Short Line background screenings.
- Obtain the required Contractor ID Badges and manage their documentation and issuance to your personnel.
